Every job you do, in every suburb you cover, with the price people ask for

Plumbers, electricians, cleaners, roofers and pest controllers are searched by job and suburb, often in a hurry. We publish a page for each job in each area you cover, with your call-out fee or starting price, and a call button that rings your phone.

The searches that come with a job attached

Trade searches are short and specific: the problem, the place, and often the word emergency or cost. Most trade websites have a list of services and a contact form, which answers none of them. The pages below are the ones that do.

TradeExample addressWhat someone searches
Plumbing/services/blocked-drain/footscray“blocked drain plumber Footscray call-out fee”
Electrical/services/rcd-tripping/croydon“electrician RCD keeps tripping Croydon”
Cleaning/services/end-of-lease-clean/2-bed-apartment“end of lease clean 2 bedroom cost”
Pest control/services/cockroach-treatment/karen“cockroach fumigation Karen price”
Roofing/services/gutter-replacement/colorbond“Colorbond gutter replacement price per metre”

What multiplies a trade's pages

Each trade has its own second list, and it is what makes a page specific rather than a suburb name swapped in. Plumbers and electricians multiply by area and by problem (blocked drain, burst pipe, no power). Cleaners multiply by area and property type. Pest controllers multiply by area and pest. Roofers multiply by area and material.

Prices are stated in the unit you quote: per hour, per call-out, per job, per room, per square metre, per point. If you only give starting prices, pages say so plainly.

Claims that get trades into trouble are blocked

Trades are not a regulated playbook, so no outside reviewer is needed, but each trade blocks the promises that cause complaints. A page containing one is withheld until it is fixed.

  • Plumbing: “cheapest guaranteed”.
  • Cleaning: “100% germ-free” and “kills all germs”.
  • Pest control: “non-toxic”, “100% safe for kids” and “permanent elimination”.
  • Roofing: “lifetime guarantee”. Solar: “free electricity”, “zero electricity bills” and “pays for itself”.
  • Every industry: “guaranteed results”, “100% guaranteed” and “risk-free”.

Pitfalls specific to trade pages

  • Suburb pages with nothing local on them are what search engines call doorway pages. Each page must carry its own job, price and area data or it is held back.
  • Only cover suburbs you actually serve. A page for an area you won't drive to brings calls you have to turn down.
  • Emergency and after-hours rates belong on their own pages, from your own figures, not folded into a daytime price.

Counted in phone calls

For trades the phone is the enquiry. Click-to-call and WhatsApp taps are counted separately from form quotes, and the monthly report leads with customer contacts per page, so you see which jobs and suburbs are worth more vans.

Questions

What people ask us

I don't publish prices. Can I still use this?

Yes. Pages can state a call-out fee or a starting price, or describe what affects the price. Pages with a real figure tend to answer the search better.

How many suburbs can I cover?

As many as you genuinely serve. Plans are sized by the number of live pages, so start with your best areas and add more as calls come in.

Do I need a website already?

You need a domain, because the pages live on a subdomain of it. If your website is thin, we start from a spreadsheet you fill in with us on a call.

Will the calls come to my mobile?

Yes. The call button dials the number you give us, and WhatsApp opens a chat with you directly.
